I could not attend the very first GGG (Greyt Greyhound Gathering) held last weekend in Waikato :( I heard that it was great fun!
I am still compiling pictures I got from Helen, Sue and others (thanks guys!) to feature here.

I was just attempting to organize my blog picture files and i came accross this gorgeous picture of Helen (from Auckland) and her handsome boys Cruzer (Charlston Kid) and Enzo (Micro Benny). Isn't it cute?
BTW, Cruzer is Louie's litter brother :-)

Cruzer (Charlston Kid) was adopted by Helen from Auckland 2 years ago. His former trainers, Denis and Pam Schofield visited him at his new home recently, and Helen sent me the pictures (thanks Helen!).
Check out this cute picture of Cruzer and Pam:


Cruzer recently got a brand new brother, also a GAP greyhound - Enzo (Micro Benny).
Just like Cruzer, Enzo was a great racer. They both are now living the high life in Torbay (AKL), with their cat Willi, Mum Helen and Uncle Lincoln.
Cruzer and Enzo are both black and white and look like littermates - as their Mum likes to say, they are 'perfectly matching'! And, they are both SERIOUSLY good-looking (on the picture below,Enzo is looking to the left, Cruzer to the right):

A walk with Louie's ex-trainers :)

A few weeks ago, we went for a walk with Pam and Denis Schofield, Louie's ex-trainers, who run busy greyhound kennels in Huntly.
They live in Devonport and we do meet for walks as often as we can. One of many great things about adopting Louie is that I got to meet lovely Pam and Denis (and their son David)! They both are just gorgeous and great company, and needless to say, we love hearing about our dogs' racing careers.

I took many pictures as the day was nice, but they mostly turned out out-of-focus

Helen has had Cruzer for 2 years, and recently adopted Enzo, who looks so like Cruzer! :-) Helen now has two perfectly matching hounds! :-)
