Gorgeous Holly (Thrilling Holly) is staying with us for a few weeks, while her family are on the holiday overseas.
I thought to post some pictures of her here, so that her parents can see how their precious girl is doing :)
Today, we took Holly and some of our pack to Kyrewood for a run in the paddock and water jump -Holly loved it! She also got to meet some horses (you can click on photos to see full size):

Holly resting :)

Gorgeous Holly (Thrilling Holly) is staying with us for a few weeks, while her family are on the holiday overseas.
I thought to post some pictures of her here, so that her parents can see how their precious girl is doing :)
Holly is a true princess - she LOVES finer things in life. At first she was a bit fussy with food, but our venison stock and Purina Shredded blend quickly fixed that - she is eating like a horse now!
 She goes walkies with our pack, and also attends Canine Good Citizen classes with them  :) Holly is very very waggy, happy, clever doggie :) It is a pleasure to have her stay with our pack for a month .

Update from Holly (Thrilling Holly)

Just over a month ago, gorgeous Holly (Thrilling Holly) went to live with Carmen, Dean and their two kids in Wellington. We just got an update from them:

Holly has been with us for more than a month now and has settled down really well into family life. She's very gentle with our two children and all their little friends who come to visit. We had a birthday party for our toddler and she greeted everyone in such a friendly manner before lying down to have a rest at a guest's feet. :)
All our friends have remarked on what a calm and friendly dog Holly is. Holly absolutely loves her walks and gets the most excited when she senses that we are going out. She's a lovely walker (most of the time!) although she does have a stubborn streak (e.g. when she doesn't want to budge, she just stays absolutely still!).
Holly loves her very comfy bed especially with a pillow for her head. She sleeps very well all night in our living room and in the morning is usually full of beans again. Holly is a bit of a finicky eater but loves boiled chicken mince and pasta.:)

Michaela and Cameron with Holly

Gorgeous Holly (Thrilling Holly) is currently in foster care in Lower Hutt, with Stephanie and her family, who just sent us an update:

Holly is an absolute delight and has settled into family life really well.  She enjoys the kids - both their pats and cuddles or just lying in the middle of the lawn whilst they play around her and she watches.  :)

She is adjusting to some of the more unusual noises of urban life, including commuter trains.  She has an very fun playful side to her, particularly with other dogs (big and small) and is always keen to have a bit of puppy-like play.  We heard her bark for the first time the other morning when we put her out at about 6am and it was a little chilly – she let us know with a single bark at the door !  She only talks when she truly has something to say. :)

 She is happy to chill out on her own, but loves it when people are about too...
