Cute Spotty (Pockets Full) is up for adoption - his two litter brothers were already adopted this past year: Tux (Not Suited) lives in Auckland, and Zeb (Yakcam) in Christchurch.
Just like his brothers, Spotty has been handled and taken care of by Ashley, greyhound handler, trainer and photographer extraordinaire :) Ashley works for Canterbury trainer Gary Cleeve, for whom Spotty and his brothers were racing. I asked her to tell me a bit more about Spotty. Apparently, Spotty is a softie who melts away when you give him cuddles. He is energetic and playful, but like any greyhound, loves his bed. :) He is very loving and will bond strongly to his new owner.
Ashley sent me this picture of Spotty and his brother Zeb, taken when they were 10month old pups ! Aren't they the cutest?
And this is Spotty as a professional racer:
And now -Spotty has retired at 3 yrs old because of minor injury, and is in Amberley GAP kennels waiting for his perfect forever home.
